What: Board Leadership Workshop
When: December 10th, 2019, 1:30-4:30 PM
Where: Art Works Eagan – 2nd floor conference room (tentative location)
Fee: $20* (fee goes directly into our community grants fund)
*This training is provided at a reduced fee thanks to Eagan Foundation donors and supporters.
As a result of attending this workshop, participants will:
Build a shared understanding and working knowledge of the roles, responsibilities and expectations of nonprofit boards
Understand how to build a stronger partnership between the chief executive and the board
Identify specific needs and action steps for increased effectiveness
Who Can and Should Attend
Attendees should either live in Eagan, work in Eagan, or represent a community organization that serves the Eagan area. Board members or staff are welcome to attend. Individuals that are considering joining a board are also welcome to attend.
How Many People Should Attend:
We suggest that two people from your organization attend if possible. Initially we will limit registration to no more than two people from each organization. You could send one staff and one board member, two board members, etc.
