YOUTH GRANTS INITIATIVE

The Eagan Community Foundation’s Youth Philanthropy Initiative returned for its 4th year in 2022. High school students, leaders of tomorrow in Eagan, participated in the grants process by assessing community needs, evaluating requests, and designating $3,000 in funding to nonprofits they felt best served the needs of Eagan youth. Along the way they learn a variety of decision making tools and group facilitation techniques. Since 2019, youth have invested over $10,000 into the Eagan community!
