The Eagan Community Foundation awards scholarships to graduating high school seniors living in Eagan or attending a high school in Eagan. Scholarships are awarded based on criteria determined by the scholarship donor such as academic merit, financial need and other requirements. If you have received a scholarship, click here for scholarship redemption instructions.

Thank you to our many generous scholarship donors who represent a wide spectrum of individuals, local businesses, organizations, schools and athletic associations.

Scholarships based on financial need will require that you submit your Student Aid Index (SAI) reported on the front page of your Student Aid Report (SAR). After you submit your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA*) you will receive a SAR. To qualify for any financial need scholarships a copy of the SAR must be submitted. • Click HERE to START or RESUME the scholarship application. (After clicking on the link you will be leaving the Foundation website and entering ClassAppsSeelectSurvey.net where the application is hosted). Always RESUME the application from the portal here.

  • The application does NOT need to be filled out all at once. When you want to return later to the application - finish the page you are working on, click NEXT, and then click CANCEL to exit the application. You will see a note that your application has been saved.

• NOTE: Only a very few scholarships require letters of recommendation. Please ONLY request letters of recommendation if applying for these few particular scholarships - details here.

  Get started NOW on your essay! You may pick any question below and create a one page response. We suggest you start working on this as soon as possible. Click here for some tips on what we look for when scoring!

  • Discuss something you have done that made a difference in your community.

  • Discuss a special attribute or accomplishment that sets you apart.

  • Pick an experience from your own life and explain how it has influenced you.

  • What ideas do you have to improve racial equity or address social justice issues within the Eagan community or within your school?

• *FAFSA: The application will be due in February but you can submit your FAFSA data until April 1st. In the application, you can enter “TBD” in Question # 97 where it asks for the SAI

  Students receiving an award will be notified in mid April via phone call. Students not receiving an award will receive an email.
