SCHOLARSHIPS
SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The Eagan Community Foundation awards scholarships to graduating high school seniors living in Eagan or attending a high school in Eagan. Scholarships are awarded based on criteria determined by the scholarship donor such as academic merit, financial need and other requirements.
The 2024 application now closed.
Thank you to our many generous scholarship donors who represent a wide spectrum of individuals, local businesses, organizations, school and athletic associations and the Eagan Community Foundation.

Interested in becoming a donor? Complete this donor form (open doc version) and email it to admin@eaganfoundation.org or call (651) 243-1198. Our base-line criteria is that the scholarship must be available to either students that live in or go to school in Eagan. Donors can build or refine but Eagan some connection to Eagan must be a baseline qualification. For example:
some scholarships hosted by booster clubs of a certain Eagan school are only available to students that attend that school
some scholarships hosted by businesses may be available only to students that live in Eagan - but may exclude students that live in other areas but might attend school in Eagan (we try to minimize this)
We cannot host scholarships for other communities that do not involve Eagan. Also, we typically do not host scholarships for students to attend a specific college or university.
Additionally, donors can choose up to five different criteria such as:
future area of study (i.e. STEM, business, journalism, arts)
academic achievement
community involvement
first generation college student or showing perseverance in overcoming a hardship
The minimum scholarship size for new scholarships is $750. You can browse other scholarship criteria here. The Foundation charges an administration fee of 10% to help cover the cost of the awards ceremony, awards booklet for recipients and donors, software, and more.
