EAGAN FOUNDATION EXTRAORDINARY EAGAN NONPROFIT BOARD MEMBER
2019 Award Recipient
Congratulations to the 2019 Eagan Foundation Extraordinary Eagan Board Member Award Recipient – Jerri Neddermeyer!
The Eagan Foundation recently began a new effort to help raise the profile of nonprofit board service in the Eagan community. Launching this initiative is a newly created award for Extraordinary Eagan Nonprofit Board Members meant to honor a board member that has provided outstanding service to an organization that serves Eagan.
This year’s honoree is Jerri Neddermeyer, Board Member at one of Eagan’s newer nonprofits, Art Works (founded in 2016). As one of the co-founders of the organization, “Jerri was a key visionary, not just in conceiving of what Art Works could become, but also in charting the path to get there,” according to fellow board member Mike Supina. Both as former Board President and current Director of Operations, Supina adds, “Jerri offers the full spectrum of skills essential to a board: vision, charisma, leadership, political acuity, networking skills, technical know-how, and elbow grease.”
Art Works will receive a $750 grant from the Eagan Foundation with this award. Art Works’ mission is to enhance the local arts community by connecting working artists, arts organizations, and the community in creative gathering spaces. The Extraordinary Eagan Board Member Award will be presented at the Eagan Foundation’s upcoming annual fundraiser: “Growing Together: An Evening of Gratitude” on November 8 at the Eagan Community Center, 1501 Central Parkway from 5:30 – 9 p.m.
Tickets available at here.
